Jerusalem is on the way to becoming Israel's first city with one million residents.

To mark Jerusalem Day, the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research has released its annual statistical survey showing the number of residents in the capital already tops 900,000.

Yair Assaf-Shapira spoke with KAN's Mark Weiss about the findings of the annual survey, noting that there has been a dramatic increase in the number of Arab women and ultra-Orthodox men joining the workforce.
