Thousands of parents demonstrated around the country Sunday evening demanding tougher sentences for abusive daycare workers and better regulations for supervision of daycare centers. While laws aimed at setting standards for early childhood frameworks and preventing abuse have recently been passed and will soon take effect, advocates say the measures are still not enough.
