Settlers have reacted angrily to the security cabinet decision to approve 700  Palestinian homes in Area C of the West Bank, which is under full Israeli control.

The plan,revealed by Kan, was approved on Tuesday by the security cabinet .

It calls for authorization for 700 Palestinian homes in Area C, along with advancing construction for 6,000 housing units in the settlements in the same area. It marks the first time in many years that Israel has approved Palestinian construction in Area C.
