Against the backdrop of the recent elections in Israel, a new study by the Israel Democracy Institute on Jewish-Arab relations has found that most Arab citizens of Israel support Arab parties joining the government. The study, which is part of an ongoing research project found, among other things, that despite Arab Israelis' serious criticism of their treatment by the state, especially regarding legislation of the nation-state law, there is a strong desire to integrate into the state and Israeli society. KAN's Naomi Segal heard more about the study from Prof. Tamar Hermann, director of the Guttman Center for Public Opinion and Policy Research at the Israel Democracy Institute.
