Israeli Arabs are stepping up protests against the rise in violence in the Arab sector.

Among the measures planned are blocking Route Six the day after Yom Kippur with a huge convoy of cars that will drive to the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem from northern and southern Israel.

A hunger strike by  Arab leaders is also planned  in a protest tent that will be erected outside the Prime Minister’s Office.

KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with Joint List Knesset member Yussef Jabarin about the violence in Arab communities.
