The High Court of Justice on Sunday rejected, on procedural grounds, a petition lodged by the Movement for Quality Government in Israel demanding that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu be removed from office in light of the graft charges against him. 

KAN reporter Naomi Segal asked Dr. Amir Fuchs, a researcher and head of the Defending Democratic Values program at the Israel Democracy Institute, about the legal and political questions surrounding the current situation, including if, according to Israeli law, a prime minister under indictment can continue in the role.
