Israel is the land of sun, but only 5 per of the country’s energy is supplied from solar power. Yossi Abramowitz, a pioneer for utility scale solar in Israel, is warning that the bulk of Israel’s power stations, gas rigs, desalination plants are vulnerable to missile attacks from Hezbullah and other terror organizations. In an interview with Arieh O’Sullivan, he said that the country could move to 100 percent solar power which is not only more ecological, but safer from attack. But it’s not because it was being held hostage by the fossil fuel industry.
