The comments by UK Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis were a stark reminder that for the vast majority of  British Jews, a Labour victory in the December 12th election would be the worst possible outcome.

The Chief Rabbi  strongly criticized  Jeremy Corbyn over his handling of allegations of anti-Semitism, in an unprecedented intervention during the final weeks of the election campaign, calling the Labour leader unfit to be prime minister.
