Israel's Health Ministry on Sunday expanded its directives regarding isolation orders, applying them not only to those returning to Israel from China, but also to those returning from Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Macau. Meanwhile, two Israelis on a cruise ship quarantined off of Japan tested positive for the coronavirus.

KAN's Naomi Segal spoke with Professor Shai Ashkenazi, dean of the medical school at Ariel University and an expert on infectious diseases, about the measures Israel is taking in response to the coronavirus outbreak, and the diagnosis of at least 2 Israelis on the quarantined cruise ship in Japan.
