Every year, hundreds of thousands of young Israelis travel abroad on post-army treks. The non-profit organization Israel-is, whose stated mission is to empower these young travelers to help boost the country's image while abroad, has now assumed a new role for the coronavirus times – as a liaison to help Israeli trekkers stranded abroad get back home, or to help them access resources where they are.
