Israel's Supreme Court is considering petitions against Benjamin Netanyahu being able to form a government due to the fact that he has been indicted on serious corruption charges. On Monday they will consider petitions aginst the coalition agreement signed between Likud and Blue and White, which calls for amending certain Basic Laws.

The extended panel of 11 senior jurists will  hand down their deciision later this week.

KAN's Mark Weiss spoke about the  proceedings with legal expert, professor emeritus of law at Haifa university, Emanuel Gross, asking him first if a Knesset member indicted on serious corruption charges be a candidate for prime minister.
