The Red Sea resort of Eilat, where 80 percent of the population relies on tourism for their livlihood, has been particularly hard hit by the corona virus pandemic. Unemployment is now at 45 percent and in a quarter of families both the husband and wife are now out of work. But, with hotels now reopening, there is hope.
