As the coronavirus cabinet continued to deliberate steps to curb infection rates while easing lockdown measures, promising reports from American firm Pfizer on its testing of a coronavirus vaccine prompted a scramble by Israel to close a contract on the vaccine. KAN reporter Arieh O'Sullivan spoke about the situation with  Prof. Manfred Green, director of the international program in the School of Public Health at the University of Haifa, who first sounded a note of caution about the vaccines under development.
