The latest opinion polls  assess the impact of Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai’s decision to enter the national political race at the head of his new party, The Israelis.

The Likud remains the clear front-runner in the race with between 28 and 29 seats, but is unable to form a majority coalition government under its current leader, Netanyahu, even if Yamina were to agree to join.

Several alternative coalition options remain open to the other players on the field, especially if Saar’s New Hope, Lapid’s Yesh Atid and Bennett’s Yamina agree to work together and to exclude the Likud.

KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with pollster Jeremy Saltan about the latest polls.
