Jerusalem's Shaare Zedek medical center was one of 6 public hospitals which cut back on receiving patients Sunday as the cash-strapped institutions demanded more funding from the government.

KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with the President of Shaare Zedek, Professor Jonathan Halevy, about positive signs in the battle against the coronavirus, along with concern over the South African and British mutations. 

But first, he explained why the hospital felt the need to employ sanctions.
