Knesset member Merav Michaeli’s victory in last week’s leadership primariy has breathed new life into the party, and polls show Labor winning 5 seats in the March election.

Monday's primary for the party slate saw former Knesset member and ex-IDF special forces commander Omer Barlev winning the number 2 slot on the list.

Social activist and political commentator Emilie Moatti is in the third spot and Reform Rabbi and head of the Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism Gilad Kariv was fourth. TV personality and lawyer and television personality Efrat Rayten rounding off the top five.
