In the wake of a three-day surprise exercise by the Israeli air force simulating a war with Hezbollah, its leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah warned that if war occurs, then Israel’s home front would suffer like it hasn’t since the formation of the state. Sarit Zehavi, CEO and founder of Alma research and education center, and a reserve Lieutenant colonel in the IDF,  said Hezbullah had greatly improved its military capabilities since the 2006 Second Lebanon War. She told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that the Iranian-backed Shiite Hezbollah had an open account with Israel and that tensions on the northern border were heightened.
