The risk of serious illness among pregnant women who contract coronavirus, and concern of the impact on the developing fetus, has prompted authorities to recommend the coronavirus vaccine for pregnant women. KAN reporter Naomi Segal asked Prof. Asher Ornoy, an expert in developmental pediatrics and teratology at the Adelson School of Medicine at Ariel University, and a professor emeritus of the Hebrew University medical school, about the issue, as well as the question of vaccination for younger children.
