Soldiers are often in need of legal aid beyond what is available in the military. An NGO called Nadan, has stepped in to provide thousands of soldiers, particularly lone soldiers, with legal aid and advice. Guy Konforti, the CEO and founder of Nadan - Legal Aid Association for IDF conscripted soldiers – said that there are some 60 volunteer lawyers in the organization and that since the coronavirus pandemic hit, more soldiers were in need of legal aid. He spoke with reporter Arieh O'Sullivan.
