Jewish Agency chair Isaac Herzog and Israel Prize laureate Miriam Peretz officially announced they were entering the race for president. Candidates have until midnight on Wednesday to submit  the signatures of at least 10 Knesset members who endorse them. On June 2nd, the Knesset will hold a secret ballot to select the successor to President Reuven Rivlin, whose seven-year term concludes a month later.
