Israel will on June 1 lift almost all of the remaining coronavirus restrictions on gatherings, following the near elimination of coronavirus spread due to the successful vaccination drive. Access to certain public places will no longer be restricted to people who are vaccinated or who have recovered from the virus. People must still wear masks indoors, though health experts are evaluating the requirement. Rules on international travel also remain in place.
