Three rockets were fired from Lebanon at northern Israel on Wednesday afternoon, setting off sirens that sent residents into shelters. The IDF said two rockets landed in open areas, one fell inside Lebanon. There were no physical injuries or damage. Magen David Adom treated four people for shock. The IDF responded with artillery fire into Lebanon. The initial assessment is that Palestinian factions were behind the rocket fire.

Giora Salz, head of the Upper Galilee Regional Council, told KAN reporter Naomi Segal that the normal routine was restored about 40 minutes after the event; and that such unexpected incidents are a part of life in the region.
