ZUMU is a community based mobile museum, which moves throughout Israel showcasing changing exhibits that are created and curated together with the local communities.

ZUMU’s philosophy is that art plays a key role in creating a more open and accepting community and builds bridges between all different sections of Israeli society.

This month Zumu moves to Lod, which in May was in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, and this created an unprecedented challenge for the Zumu team.

KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with Milana Gitzin- Adiram, the Founding Director and Chief Curator of Zumu.
