This month Israel launches its National Drone Initiative .

Drones are initially expected to carry out around 300 flights per day, including food delivery, transportation of medicines and medical equipment, and agricultural services.

Eventually dozens of autonomous drones are expected to carry out a total of around 3,000 flights above business and residential areas in Tel Aviv, Ramat HaSharon, Herzliya and Hadera.
