Drones are expected to become increasingly ubiquitous in the skies of Israel and the world as unmanned aerial vehicles continue to expand beyond military use to the civilian realm. Next month, the largest and the most prestige unmanned systems event in Israel is scheduled to take place: the UVID Dronetech 2021. Alon Unger, the chairman and founder of UVID, said the conference would be seeking to address the growing role of drones in a nation, particularly issues such as sky safety and academic studies for operating drones. Unger told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that drones can be used as an engine of national growth for Israel.
