The National Library, in cooperation with Israeli artists and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Sport, has rolled out a new music app Shiri, which provides an innovative and ad-free way to listen to Israeli music. Available for download on both Android and iOS devices, users choose three artists they like, which guide Shiri  in offering songs from its database of more than 40,000 tracks. KAN's Naomi Segal heard more about the initiative from Yaron Deutscher, head of the Digital Access Division at the National Library.
