The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) condemned an attack against the Chief Rabbi of Argentina Gabriel Davidovich, saying it was "very likely" an anti-Semitic attack. The physical assault and robbery, which occurred early Tuesday morning at Rabbi Davidovich's home in Buenos Aires, was denounced by many, including Israel's prime minister, as a hate crime after his attackers referenced his role as a Jewish religious leader.

KAN's Arieh O'Sullivan spoke with Liat Altman, the head of the Latin America desk at the ADL, about levels of anti-Semitism in South America and the significance of the attack.
