Prime Minister Netanyahu has condemned the hate graffiti and the vandalism last night in the village Jish, also called Gush Halav, near Tsfat.

"We will find the lawbreakers and we will prosecute them. We will not accept any attacks on our citizens," Netanyahu said.

Dozens of tires were punctured and graffiti was spray-painted on two buildings saying: Jews, wake up and stop the assimilation.

A report written by the Tag Meir organization found that in the last eight years, there were 31 hate crimes in northern Israel, three of them in Jish.

KAN's Mark Weiss asked Tag Meir field coordinator Ruth Klein if she thinks the prime minister is correct when he says the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
