45 ימים מפרוץ המלחמה באוקראינה, עשרות אמנים וידוענים מרחבי העולם התגייסו אמש (שישי) לאירוע התרמה מקוון למען אזרחי אוקראינה. מאחורי המיזם שנקרא Stand Up for Ukraine עומד ארגון "גלובל סיטיזן".
בשעות הערב והלילה פרסמו אופרה ווינפרי, מדונה, סלין דיון, קייטי פרי, אלטון ג'ון, ברוס ספרינגסטין, רד הוט צ'ילי פפרז, להקת U2 ועוד מוזיקאים ושחקנים מוכרים, סרטונים בעמודים הרשמיים שלהם ברשתות החברתיות, בהם קראו לעוקבים שלהם לתרום מכספם למען תושבי אוקראינה ומיליוני הפליטים שנאלצו לעזוב את בתיהם.
