Scanning the horizon for food security
The Agriculture Ministry has initiated a system to monitor food imports to ensure food security. The system will scan the horizon against wars, pandemics, climate events and boycotts and also increase local production. Reporter Arieh O’Sullivan spoke with Yaakov Poleg, the deputy director general for foreign affairs and international cooperation at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.
