War increased hardship for at-risk youth
The ongoing war amplified difficulties faced by Israel's youth, according to the annual report of Elem, a non-profit that supports at-risk youth. Increased use of alcohol, heightened exposure to violence in the public sphere and a drop in school attendance were among the effects reported by youth.
