Captain Daniel Perez, 22, a South African-born platoon commander in the Armored Corps fell defending the Nahal Oz outpost on October 7th, 2023. His body was kidnapped into Gaza where it is still held. Daniel's father, Rabbi Doron Perez, Executive Chairman of the Mizrachi World Movement, spoke to KAN reporter Naomi Segal about his son.
