UPDATE: Police on Sunday said IDF Military Advocate General Maj.-Gen. Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi was alive and had contacted family. She had been missing since the morning hours, raising grave concern for her safety. She resigned last week amid an investigation into her role in leaking video footage related to allegations of severe abuse of a Palestinian detainee by soldiers at a detention facility.
